Course Assignments and Activities

Often instructors post their course syllabus but not the particular assignments and activities they create.  We could learn from each other by sharing the details of what we have our students do.  For instance, when somebody gives a lecture on the history of testing and has the class spend three minutes taking part of the 1917 Army Alpha test, how did the professor then structure the discussion?  If you would like to post the specifics of a favorite assignment or activity you’ve used with good results, please contact Bob Hampel (hampel@udel.edu), who has posted a sample of his own below.
